Internal Audit Section-1
a) Carrying out internal audit-related functions of the following ministries/divisions:

1. Office of the President
2. Supreme Court of Bangladesh
3. Finance Division
4. Economic Relations Division
5. Ministry of Commerce
6. Legislative and Parliamentary Affairs Division
7. Secondary and Higher Education Division
8. Ministry of Social Welfare
9. Ministry of Information and Broadcasting
10. Local Government Division
11. Ministry of Textiles and Jute
12. Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change
13. Ministry of Primary and Mass Education
14. Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism
15. Ministry of Liberation War Affairs
16. Security Services Division

b) Formulating and updating necessary rules, policies, manuals, and charters for conducting internal audit activities of ministries/divisions.

c) Providing necessary advice and opinions to the concerned ministries/divisions regarding the execution of internal audit functions.

d) Assisting and coordinating in the overall management of internal audit units and audit committees of the concerned ministries/divisions.

e) Developing training plans related to internal audit and coordinating training activities of the ministries/divisions.

f) Regularly monitoring the implementation progress of internal audit activities based on the internal audit reports of the concerned ministries/divisions.
